Estate and Legacy Planning

Planning for the future means making sure your wishes are honored. We help you organize and update your estate plan and guide you through trusts, beneficiary choices, and asset transfers, working alongside your estate attorney so the people and causes you care about are taken care of.
How do you help with estate planning?
We help you think through your goals for your assets and loved ones, review how your accounts are titled and who your beneficiaries are, and make sure your financial plan supports your estate documents. Your attorney drafts the legal documents; we help coordinate the financial side.
Do you draft wills or trusts?
No. Neither Osaic Wealth nor its representatives provide legal advice. We coordinate with your estate planning attorney, or can help you find one, and make sure your investment accounts align with the plan they prepare.
Why do beneficiary designations matter?
Beneficiary designations on retirement accounts, insurance policies, and some investment accounts generally pass directly to the people named, regardless of what your will says. Outdated designations are one of the most common estate planning mistakes, so we review them with you regularly.
Can life insurance be part of my legacy plan?
It can be. Life insurance is offered through Romero Investment Management, which is not affiliated with Osaic Wealth. Policy guarantees depend on the claims-paying ability of the issuing insurer. We help you evaluate whether coverage fits your goals.
How often should my estate plan be reviewed?
We recommend reviewing it every few years and after major life events such as marriage, divorce, births, deaths, a move to another state, or a significant change in assets.
